In the field of Holistic health, Reiki is one of the most often used forms of complementary care used by laypersons and professionals in both the private and professional arenas. Hospitals now use Reiki practitioners daily to interact with patients from emergency room to Post Op, to in-hospital care and is used often for the assisting those in cancer treatments. In the professional medical field, Reiki is ideally suited for nurses, CNAs, massage therapists, or anyone who is responsible for the care and wellbeing of others. In our personal lives, Reiki is extremely important for parents, spouses, teachers, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, friends, neighbors or private caregivers, i.e. someone caring for a family member or friend at end of life or just moving through the healing of a temporary illness. Even children can learn Reiki and use it for themselves and others.
